Dog Mountain
Today I got to venture out and do a dayhike on Dog Mountain. It’s situated in Washington state, with an elevation of somewhere around 2900 feet above sea level. It was a challenging hike, especially for someone accustomed to the terrain of Michigan and Florida… The view from the top was spectacular though, and I’m planning another trip up it very soon. One whole side of the mountain is currently covered in a yellow wildflower (that I do not know the name of), and this will be the focus of my next trip. Today I just wanted to survive the hike, and get the lay of the land. I did grab a few pictures today, and the one that follows is probably my favorite, however I know I can do better, and I’ll get those up as soon as I capture them (well not right away, I’ll have to survive the hike down again…)
